The main protagonist is the wood.

In the 1960s, Modesto Piccardi began a sawmill business in Cuneo and then later changed to solid wood flooring with some partners.

In the 1970s, the company quickly became synonymous with high quality and played an important role in the domestic market.

Since the 1980s, Piccardi Living thanks to numerous investments in quality research, offers exclusive tailored products, directly selecting raw materials from all over the world.

In the years 1991-92 Piccardi Living supplied the wooden floors in one of the most important Italian theatres: Genova Opera House- Carlo Felice and later the Auditorium of the Regio Theatre in Turin.

In 2000 with the help of skilled craftsmen, Piccardi Living started to produce parquet flooring with special finishes, using reclaimed wood or large boards of up to 50cm in width.

In 2010 a new showroom was opened in Cuneo where you can see the full collection of wood materials and walls in leather Boiserie.
